Looking down a long stretch of desolate highway with a storm on the horizon. Then the sun pops out and gives one hope of no rain
Back Story
Just driving around before heading towards an event with friends. The entire day it threatened to rain, though hadn’t hit any. There’s nothing like driving off the beaten path, far from any major highway. This photographer personally hates traffic and idiot drivers…
Topping a hill, this scene presented itself. Although the sun was hidden from view, pulling over seemed like a good idea. So got the camera and tripod ready while waiting for perhaps the sun to peek from behind the thick clouds. Waiting…
After about 20 minutes, the rain kept at bay and then the sun shined across the road. It was a gorgeous sight to see indeed! Taking care no cars were coming, I stepped into the highway, set up camera and captured a few shots. This one was special as a bird had flown in above the trees
